Overview:DropPrev® MPB is an isomer of Thymol, which has been widely used in home medicine since ancient times. It has high stability, very low odor, very low taste, and good safety. MPB is halogen-free. This makes it a highly accepted antiseptic for oral and skin care. Thymol is found in many plants, the best known source being several plants of the thyme genus. The essential oils of these plants contain up to 60% thymol. Thymol has a number of beneficial properties, such as antibacterial activity, however DropPrev® MPB has far more antibacterial activity than thymol.
Application: Hand sanitizers, anti-acne cream, toothpaste, body wash, mouthwash, wet wipes, etc.
Dosage: 0.02％-0.1％ in cosmetics, toothpastes, and mouth care products.
Solubility: Slightly soluble in water.
Package: 25kg/barrel.
Storage: Keep sealed at room temperature away from light and wet.
Shelf life: 2 years.
